Gamescom (August 21 to 25)

Formerly known as PAX Prime, PAX West like the other PAX events is a fan-focused show with relatively few major news events. However, because it falls just before the fall review season starts, it generally draws larger games and more notoriety. In 2017, Assassin’s Creed Origins, Monster Hunter: World, Battle Chef Brigade, and Life is Strange: Before the Storm were on hand.
